Well I am back in Brandon from spending a week down in the burg.  I had nice little break but didnt really do a whole lot.  Went fishing with Brady and Reid and stayed around the house the rest of the time basically.  We did go to the IP casino Friday night and ended up spending the night there.  Reid, Brady, Loran, Heather, Tori, and I went down there.  I won enough playing roulette to pay for the trip, but that was about it.

Tori seemed nice and we were able to talk a good bit.  I called her last night and we ended up talking for about 45 minutes which is not normal for me to be able to talk that long.  I dont think it will go anywhere, something always comes up but I guess we will see what happens from it.

Btw:  Coach A took his kids to see the Blue Man group and said it was a blast, he talked so great about it I want to go see them now.

Well, it is spring break time and that means that summer is coming fast and I don't have to work.  Cherish, Aletta, Brady, and I just went to eat at La Festa Brava.  It was good to see Cherish and Aletta because I hardly get a chance to see them anymore.  They were headed down to the Beau Revage to do some girly things (massages and such).  Brady and I talked about possibly meeting them Friday to play alittle roulette.

I don't have really any plans for anything special this week.  I thought about going up to Tupalo Thursday to see the boys play in the Slam Dunk championship tournament, but I have talked myself out of it.  I really don't want to spend my spring break at a basketball game.  I was proud to see the boys win the state championship last week.  The game was not over until 11 so we did not have many kids at school on Friday, but we did have a special assembly Friday to honor the team.

Brady, Reid, and I are probably going fishing tomorrow which I am looking forward to.  It has been awhile since I have been fishing!  Other than that I really have no plans for the week but just to relax.

Well I have been planning my summer trip and this is what it looks like so far.

I have not made my plans on what route I am going to take to get to Philadelphia, because I have not decided where I want to visit yet.  Most likely I am going to have to pay for hotel rooms going up and back, but at least staying in the Hostels while I am around the D.C. area will save me a good bit of money.

I have already booked my hostel rooms because I wanted to spend July 4th in D.C.

July 1-2 Philadelphia- Hostel $20.00 a night
July 3-6 Washington D.C.-Hostel $25.00 a night, but I have a coupon for two nights free
July 7-8 Baltimore- Hostel $20.00 a night
July 9 report to work at Prince William Forest Park

I took the day off to relax and regroup myself.  Yesterday, was really tough and it seemed like every stupid little thing was getting under my skin.  That is no way to be when you are a teacher.  I was really stressed out and it was bringing on some cold symptoms.  So today I have just been lying around the house not really doing anything, but it has been just what I need.  Tomorrow I will be ready to go back and take on the world.

In other news, my Hostel International membership card came in.  I spent last night trying to figure out where I am going to visit this summer.  It will be nice not to be in school for a change.

Well things have pretty much stayed the same with the exception of two teachers leaving during the Christmas holidays.  We found replacements but I don't think one of them is going to workout very well.  I have received some information regarding Kentucky, I have not decided to move yet, but still looking into the possibilities (always goods and bads with every decision).

Candi called me at the 1st of the month to tell me that she was getting married in July.  I don't really know why she felt the need to tell me this, probably so she could say "see I don't need you."  I am happy for her, but at the same time I hate that she is getting married before I am.  Don't get me wrong I did not want to marry her, so that is why she left, but my ego is still alittle crushed that she has found someone already.

I have setup my plans for the summer to goto Triangle, Va for the summer to work at Prince William State Park.  It is only 30 minutes from Washington, D.C., so I will be able to do alot of sight seeing.  I only have to work on the weekends, so I have five days to do as I please.

Well we are out for Christmas break, which of course is nice and I am also now officially through with buying Christmas.  Jill and I went shopping today to wrap everything up.  I had found out that mom was wanting some black/white jewelry so Jill found something that she thought mom would like.  I feel like she will, but who knows really!

After we got through shopping, Jill and I went to O'Charlie's for a drink and a burger.  We sat around and talked for awhile, She is from Kentucky and I have been considering the place.  I believe I might would enjoy living in Kentucky, so I am looking at taking a trip their during spring break.

I put in today to have February 20th and 21st off, New Orleans here I come.  I have been to Mardi Gras before, but never on Fat Tuesday.  But this year that is all going to change.

Beautiful day outside, I am going to get out later and enjoy it.  I have not taken any photographs in awhile, I need to do some picture hunting during the holidays.  I still have not gotten my mom her Christmas gift yet,  I need to go to town again and look.  I hate shopping so much, especially having to deal with all the traffic at this time of the year.

This week went well at school, but I have lots to do this weekend.  I have test papers to grade and a scrapbook that my students created on Colonial America.  We had a fight that could have really gotten out of hand yesterday.  I was at my duty post watching the students leave school and three girls was talking crap to each other.  I got one girl in her car and told her to get out of here and I began to walk the other two girls to their car.  The first girl gets out of her car and attacks the two girls from behind.  I was able to grab one of the girls but others attacked her while I was holding her.  I had to let her go or they would have beat her up pretty bad!  All-in-all it ended up being eight girls fighting with just me out there stopping it.  After, what seemed forever for some other teachers to get out there (but probably two minutes) I got some help!   With five of us we were able to stop the fighting.  All five of us teachers got brushed, but no direct hits.  Just enough to piss you off and get your heart pumping.  The five of us sat around for a little while after the cops came to just calm ourselves down.  It was the biggest fight I had seen in a few years and it lasted several minutes.  Most fights you can walkout a holler or grab one of the students and it is over, but not this one.

Three more days until school is out!  Teachers come back the 4-5th for training and students report the 8th.

Well I guess my updating is getting more infrequent, so here it was has gone on for the past month or so. Thanksgiving was fine, I went to my parents house to dogsit for the week. They went to the Outer banks, NC like they do every year. I made a trip down to the coast to look around and see what progress has been made. Pearlington is still in really bad shape, but the school is coming along nicely. Bay St. Louis has made real good progress, St. Stanislaus looks great. I believe when they are through the school will be better than before the storm. I made my way down to Waveland following along the beach, but I got turned around (lost) so I was not able to see the downtown area. I did stop by the Silver Slipper Casino while I was on the coast, not really impressed by it through.

I had finished all of my Christmas shopping with the exception of my mom. I really am having a problem on what to get her this year. In the past I always have gotten her jewelry or some cuisinart cookware she likes, but she has all the cookware she needs now. I have looked at some jewelry, but the only things I have found that I think she would like is out of my budget. I am sure I will come up with something, but I just wish I was through.

I am counting the days until we get out. We get out the 20th and go back the 4th and 5th for teaching training. I have been selected the chairman for the SACS committee, which I am really dreading. I worked on the committee last time, but I was not chairman and that was enough of a headache. They probably made me chairman because even though I don't want to be, I won't bitch about it.

I have found a camp that I may spend my summer at, it is called Prince William Forest Park. It is a national park located in Triangle, VA which is 32 miles outside of Washington, D.C. I have talked to the forest ranger there about a job as a cabin host. I would greet guest, do check-ins, and assist the people staying at the camp. She said that it is way to early to make plans now, but that I should stay in contact with her. I hope that it works out because I would love to have time to visit Washington, Manassas, Fredericksburg, and Mount Vernon which is all within 30 to 45 minutes away.

This was the first weekend in about a month that I have been able to stay home. Dad has been rebuilding the deck to their house that was damaged during the hurricane,so I have been going home to help him. We finally finished after about 5 weekends of continuous work. The deck still has to be painted, but the wood has to dry out first before we are able to do that.

Jill and I went to Tinseltown to see Borat Friday. I have mixed feelings about the movie, but it was different than any other movie I have ever seen.

Saturday, Brian and I went to Ameristar in V'Burg to play alittle roulette. I should have known that it was not my night we within two minutes of arriving at the roulette table I heard "Hey, Mr. W." I look around and one of my students was leaving with his mom, they had came there to eat at the buffet. I know that come Monday it will be all over school that I was gambling. I ended up losing $160.00, which is totally out of the norm for me.

Nothing has changed too much since the last time I posted. I had to go to a wedding for Craig in Germantown, TN. I like that area a whole lot, I may think about moving there at some point.

Reid, Brady, Lorann, Dean, and I went to the USM homecoming game. It had to have been the strangest game I have been to in awhile. It seemed that no one in the whole stadium was into the game even though USM was winning.

I lost one of my hell-raisers today, which made all of us teachers smile with glee. He is moving to Gulfport to live with his father, hopefully his dad will have better control of him, than his mother has had.

Dean keeps telling me that I should try the e-harmony thing, because he has met so many girls through it. With my job I don't get to meet many girls that are my age and those who are have always been married. I keep considering the idea, but the thought of meeting someone I met over the internet makes me feel weird.
